European Championship, formally UEFA European Championship is a football tournament that occurs every 4 years, held between the members of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The competition has been held every four years since 1960, except for 2020, when it was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
I decided to design a concept logo for the Uefa Euro's tournament, taking place in Germany 2024. The Logo had to represent Germany as a nation and the sport of football. I did this by keeping the shape of the 2020 Euro logo but simplified to follow Germany's geometric design. I also used these lines to create a dynamic animation which uses the horizontal lines to merge to introduce the logo which brings more life into the imagery.
